Veiled Lady Sculpture Original Story:
The veiled virgin marble sculpture is made in Rome by Italian sculptor Giovanni Strazza (1818-1875), depicting a bust of the veiled Virgin Mary. The veil appears translucent but is actually carved out of marble. The statue was transported to Newfoundland in 1856, as recorded in the diary of Bishop John Thomas Malloch on December 4: “Received safely from Rome a beautiful marble Virgin Mary by Strazza. The face is veiled, and the body and facial features are clearly visible at a glance. It is a perfect art treasure.”
Exquisite Carving Skills:
YouFine could 100% restore this veiled Virgin Mary sculpture. Because our factory has highly skilled carving masters. They learn to carve from an early age. Under their superb skills, the icy marbles seem to have their own expressions and movements. We could see the veiled Virgin under their carvings so realistically. Although covered by a veil, people could still clearly see the facial expressions of the Virgin. The veil is also so realistic that it could be mistaken for a piece of cloth we cover over the head of the sculpture.
More variety to choose from:
We have many types of veiled lady bust sculptures. There are busts with veils and wreaths on their heads, busts of women without veils, and busts of women with flowers on their clothes. These sculptures are made of natural marble, which is extremely dense and wear-resistant. And they are all very beautiful, carefully carved by the top sculptor.
Reliable Packaging:
YouFine adopts a strict packaging scheme so that customers can receive the sculptures in perfect condition. For example, we wrap this veiled virgin replica with thick soft foams before packing it to prevent the loss caused by shaking during transportation. Second, we would use strong wooden crates to hold this marble sculpture. This wooden crate could play a very good protective role. In addition to that, fully insured services could also save you from worrying about the risks in shipping.
YouFine has been doing its best to be the most trusted partner of customers. If you are interested in our marble sculptures, please contact us for more information.
